Academic Enrichment and Intervention » AP

AP courses are a cooperative educational endeavor between secondary schools and colleges/ universities. It gives high school students exposure to college level material through involvement in an AP course and then gives them an opportunity to show what they have learned by taking an AP exam. Colleges and universities are then able to grant credit, placement, or both to students. AP courses prepare students for the future by giving them the tools that will serve them well throughout their college career. AP courses are offered at each of the four traditional high schools as well as through the North Carolina Virtual Public School.

The AP courses we offer:

AP ENG 11 Rhetoric - English Language and Composition

AP English 12 Literature - English Literature and Composition
