Shira Parrish

I’m one of the counselors here at Rocky Mount High School and also a proud RMHS graduate. As a Rocky Mount native, I love being able to give back to my community and support students in every way I can. Over the years, I’ve worked as a teacher, counselor, and coach for swim, cheer, and softball.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from NC State (Go Pack!) and later completed my master’s in School Counseling at Liberty University. My goal is to help every student see that education isn’t one-size-fits-all and that there’s always a path to success.
