I was born and raised in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and I’m a proud graduate of Rocky Mount Senior High School—Go Gryphons! I continued my education at North Carolina A&T State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Education and Information Technology. I later received my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Capella University.
I have been a school counselor since 2017, and I chose this profession because I wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. Supporting students in reaching their goals and discovering their potential is the most rewarding part of my work.
