Graduation Requirements

RMHS graduation requirements depend on your Course of Study, and local requirements usually go beyond the state minimum requirement. For most students, 28 units of credit are required.  The following chart from the NC Department of Instruction clearly identifies which courses are required.  The total, however, does not include any additional electives required by our school system.  Transfer students may have different requirements with regard to electives if they came from a school where less courses are taught per year.  (Transfer student requirement is 4 less then their maximum potential and at least the 22 units required by the state).
