Athletic physical forms are available outside the Athletic Office, in the main office and on the school’s website. 

 

To participate in athletics, you and your parent must be registered in Finalforms (https://nashrockymount-nc.finalforms.com/), passed 3 out of 4 courses from last semester and have an updated physical on file.

 

Important items:

·         GoFan for admission to games. $8

·         Season passes - $125.00 (GoFan app)                  

·         Letterman Jackets - $140.00, 5X - $190

·         RM Stickers and Team stickers - $2.00

·         Gryphon Apparel -RMHS Online Store and Amazon.com

Go to our school’s website, digital sports: www.digitalsports.com or Maxpreps: www.maxpreps.com  to get schedules, rosters and results. You can also click on the away games (digital sports), and it will connect you to map quest for directions.  There is a section where you can put your email address so that the system can notify you of any cancellations.

The Athletic Awards Banquet will be held on Wednesday, May 8th.  The meal will start at 5 pm and the banquet will start at 6 pm.  Athletes will need to see Coach M. Gainey from Wednesday, May 1st until Monday, May 6th to get your meal ticket.  Parents and guest meal will cost $10 and the tickets are available now on GoFan.  The awards presentation is free. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE YOUR AWARDS.

 

Wednesday (Apr. 17)

  • Track results: Boys and Girls finished in 1st place.

  • Nash Central defeated the Tennis team.

 

Thursday (Apr. 18)

  • Special Olympics will be participating at the stadium.

  • Tennis will travel to Northern Nash. Match time: 3:30 pm.

  • Thursday esports will have matches against Pasquotank County High School @ 3:30 and Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy @ 4:00

  • Soccer will host Bunn.  Game time: 4 pm.

  • Baseball will travel to Roanoke Rapids.  Game time: 6 pm.

  • Softball will host Southern Nash.  It is senior night, so please come out and say thank you for participating in Gryphon Athletics. Game time: 6:45 pm.

 

Friday (Apr. 19)

  • Special Olympics will be participating at the stadium.

 

Monday (Apr. 22)

  • Golf will travel to Chockoyotte C.C. Tee time: 3 pm.

  • The Soccer team will host Franklinton.  Game time: 4 pm.
